Estimation and Value Engineering
Customers who need a switchboard enclosure typically start with a single line diagram. This needs to be converted to a GA Drawing. To ensure clarity of need, Modutec sends such customers a checklist to find details of the panel room size, cable entry from top or bottom, single front or double front, and so on.
The GA drawing is arrived at based on this, after which the customer gets the estimation. Another way to do this is to use MODSIM, Modutec’s proprietary software. The software allows the customer to get the GA drawing and estimation.
To enable this, Modutec gives you a verified username and password, using which you can get all the necessary information anywhere, anytime. All you need is an internet connection. What’s more, the software will also prompt you on the module and bus bar sizes, simplifying your solution arrival!

Declaration Of Compliance
Specifiers and end users invest their trust in switchboards manufactured as per IEC 61439 standards. 12 tests detail the veracity and ruggedness of the switchboard — especially its compliance to withstand short circuits & temperature rise capability. Modutec verifies all this for the given GA drawing, and if found acceptable, we issue a Declaration of Compliance.

Certifications & Calculations
Switchgear companies, panel builders and even OEMs sometimes want to get their switchboard solutions type tested to international standards. We welcome partnerships for such requirements and undertake the type testing on your behalf at a reasonable cost.
We undertake to carry out all the required calculations to ensure that we pass the test right at the first attempt. Training And Orientation
An assembly manual is critical to adapt to a flat pack modular technology, similar to when you buy furniture from IKEA. We also provide a video coupled with training & orientation — both in our classroom as well as on-the-job sessions.
We offer samples at cost price so that your team continues to learn at the location where these enclosures are assembled. It’s simplifying panel building, after all!
